Peugeot/Xtracycle conversion – store demo for sale

This is the DBH Xtracycle demo bike. We are planning to build up a new demonstrator for next year, so now is the season for getting a great deal on a fully built xtracycle.

The xtracycle kits generally sell for $550 plus installation, so this is an opportunity to get a fully decked out longbike at a fantastic price.

The donor bike is a late 90s era peugeot city/mtb. Being a step through, it is perfect for mounting and dismounting even with loads piled high.

The bike was rebuilt from the ground up last season – with brand new “aero profile” double wall wheels, new drivetrain, new rubber and a complete tune up. It has seen only a few miles as a test rider since it was reborn last year.

Seat Tube: 17-1/2
Effective To Tube: 21-1/2

Price: $800 including HST (equivalent to just over 700 plus tax)

This used Peugeot is in great shape, and has been customized with cruiser handlebars and trigger shifters.

The chain is brand new (zinc coated rust resistant) as is the seat.

Of course it has been fully tuned and is ready to go.

The basket, fenders, bell and kickstand are included.

Seat tube: 16 inches from centre of BB to top of top tube.
Top Tube: 21 inches

Price: $180 taxes included

Free Project Bikes!

We just received two donations and are re-donating back to the community – they are a bit too much for us to handle right now.

1. Low end racing bike – a good amount of rust and one piece cranks. not-too-terrible centre pull brakes. 21″/53cm frame:

2. Supercycle cruiser – 24 inch tires. It’s a small bike for a small adult or tall child. Will likely clean up very nicely! THis one is worth it for the chainguard alone 16″/40cm frame

This is a floor model which was brushed against a few too many times and has some cosmetic blemishes – mostly just some scratches on the forks and kickstand.
